Making the Sex Pistols famous, mashing world music, rap and a major force in creating DJ culture, Mr Vivienne Westwood for a time, he was a true Renaissance Man. A provocateur. So, being a bit of a foodie (more on my Montreal caviar exploits to come) I have this secret wafer obsession. My favorites are made by the Italian company Loacker...and well, I've found a new flavour that is the equivalent of crack cocaine.

IT'S OKAY TO BE PRETTY

I used to think I needed to be all hard all the time. My mom always asks me "why don't you sing prettier like your friend that Feist girl? You'd make a lot more money".

Siigh. Maybe I'm getting maudlin as I get older, but maybe mom is right. Not about the money thing...I'm just more in touch with things of beauty lately. And less ashamed to admit it.

The Charlotte Gainsbourg album is pretty good. This is my favorite track, hands down. She nails that creepy sexy thing. She's a Gainsbourg, it's in her blood.
